Who We Are
Uplift Station is a personal ministry of Uplift Group, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We exist to show people the love of Christ through honest, Scripture-rooted teaching and faithful, hands-on service.
A focus on men
We have a particular burden for men — for the husband fighting bitterness, the dad worn out from providing, the son still wrestling with old wounds, the young man trying to figure out what manhood under Christ even looks like. The Christian life is not abstract. It is walked, day by day, in real homes and real workplaces, by real men who get knocked down and keep getting up. We want to walk that road alongside you.
What we do
- Teach the Bible plainly — not to impress, but to feed people on the Word of God.
- Serve our community and the church, with our hands and our resources, in the name of Christ.
- Come alongside men in the middle of their struggles — addiction, divorce, depression, prodigal kids, doubt, anger — and point them back to Jesus.
- Share the gospel with anyone who will listen, because eternity matters.
Why “Uplift”?
The name comes from a simple verse:
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
James 4:10 (ESV)
The only true uplift is the one God Himself gives — when we stop trying to climb on our own and let Him raise us up. That is who we are. That is what we point people to. The cross of Christ is the only ladder.
